I’ve been part of the Galveston Veterinary Clinic team since 1981, and I’ve loved every minute of it. Getting to meet so many friendly people and their awesome pets every day is definitely the best part of the job.

At home, things are just as busy. I’ve got Merlin, my Australian Shepherd, three cats, a Blue Tongue Skink, five chickens, and a horse named Flash. When I’m not at work, I’m usually hanging out with my two sons or out in the garage working on a woodworking project.

One moment I’ll never forget was seeing a little boy’s face light up after his dog survived being hit by a car. It was one of those moments that really sticks with you and reminds you why this work matters.
